About Ryan Dawkins

.

Since 2002, Dawkins transformed running and cycling events through his first company Project Sport, a venture he founded as a 25-year-old graduate student and built into an industry-leading event production, management, and marketing company.

In 2012, Project Sport sold a portfolio event, the US Half Marathon across the Golden Gate Bridge, to Competitor Group/IRONMAN, which became the Rock ‘n’ Roll San Francisco and then in 2014, Project Sport was acquired by New York’s Bregal Partners, where Ryan was responsible for the integration of Project Sport into their endurance division.

Dawkins is also a competitive athlete — collegiate swimmer, finisher of 11 IRONMAN events and part of the 2nd place, 4-man cycling team in the Race Across America from San Diego to Atlantic City, finishing over 3,000 miles in 6 days, 6 hours.

He lives in Lafayette, California with his wife Clare and three daughters.
